In my opinion, the whole blood and guts and serial killer thing isn't scary at all. Maybe if it shows up randomly at your window and stuff, then it's a little scary, but after that, it gets boring. I think that the scariest movie would be about the supernatural accompanied by disturbing creatures hiding in the shadows. I think the scariest setting ever is in a hospital. If a person were in a hospital for a few months and started seeing disturbing and twisted things then is followed by them when they are better and go home,that would be an awesome movie. Something like a mix of demons and The Hills Have Eyes deformed people. The grotesque demons could keep scaring the person until they reach the brink of insanity. The person gets some idea that if they kill, they can satisfy the demons and they will leave them alone. The person goes around stalking people and killing them quietly. Despite the wild idea, the demon activity increases. The person loses all grip of reality and commits suicide, only to find themselves waking up at home with a spouse and family they don't remember. They find out that they've been in a coma for 2 years and had been paralyzed from a car wreck. The person is cared for by their "family" only to find out that they are demons. The person keeps switching between twisted realities with disturbing images and events with the demons. I'm not sure how it would end, but I think that'd be pretty creepy. Like a giant fever induced nightmare with disturbing hallucinations that you could never escape. What's everyone else view on "scary"?

Having problems with my 8 month old?

So lately my son has been crying a lot! When I make him his bottle of 7oz he only eats maybe half of it and then wants nothing to do with it. Then just a few hours later hes crying more he hasn't wanted his pacifier at all I've tried to give him a nap and he fights it I just don't know what is wrong with him and why he is being this way. He isn't sick no runny nose, cough, fever nothing I see on the outside.

I have not come across anything like that, I have seen ascii art software but that just uses text characters not words. You can get photo mosaic software that will build up a photo from many small images so if you were to have a file full of pictures of words then that may go some way to achieving what you want.

My ferret rolls around in her litter box. How can I deter her from doing this?

She will only roll around in a retalively clean litter box, so usually when I clean their cage I'll leave a little waste so she recognizes it as a toilet and not a play thing, but she continues to roll around in it. I've given her a big box of rice to give her something she is allowed to roll in, but she still prefers her litter box. When I see her playing in her litter box, I will pick her up and place her in the rice instead but this doesn't seem to help. We are both young but I have always imagined I would end up with him. However, not to sound too elitist in my views but to be honest I am worried that he is so supportive of McCain and thinks Palin is an amazing pic. Unfortunately it is very embarring that he is so conservative because my family is largely liberal, and one of my family members is a democratic politician. He says he has no problem with me being liberal- and that he values my opinion (which is not totally true because most times he interrupts or laughs at my opinion and claims I am largely influenced by liberal media outlets.) But I am the one with a college degree, and I worry that perhaps his ignorance and lack of the values I believe are behind democratic beliefs will be our downfall. Ok. I have irregular periods due to hormonal imbalances( I have low progesterone, which means I do not ovulate regularly). It's been over 7 months we haven't been using any protection. Has anything ever happened to your baby/kids that has made you so scare?

Today I lunch I was feeding Damian I notice that his arm was red as I further look I notice that he was covered in hives. I got up and told my husband that were going to the ER. He didn't ask why, I guess he heard the desperation in my voice. As we were approaching the light I yelled at him to hurry up because the hives were spreading all over his arm and chest. At this point I was crying I was so scare I have never felt so scare. I have felt scare before but this feeling was knew it was different from the other times that I have felt scare . Well I got to the hospital in tears and by the time that I was seen by the doctor (which was quickly to my surprise) the hives and rash was gone. The doctor explain what happened, which was an allergic reaction to something. We are not exactly sure what the allergic reaction to was but he gave us some instruction. My son is fine now. I know all of us love our kids I hope that your kids have a healthy life but have you ever been in this situation before? How did you handle it? To be honest I think I was a mess. The only thing I know I did right was rush him to the hospital with out thinking twice about it but the whole way there I was a total wreck.

So I like music but... i hate noise... (no not the wierd part) I listen to music everyday and sometimes the music is kinda annoying but i love it.. The part of the music i like is when the singer or guitar player hits a certain note... Whenever i hear that high/low sound I just.. burst(best word that could describe it) After i hear that note or sound i almost cry nearly every time.. The way the singer sings as in.. the sound his voice makes makes me um... explode in emotions.. its something i cant really describe.. when i know the note is coming i feel like crying out of anticipation.. and when it's seconds away, i cant really um.. feel or think anything.. im only concentraded on the note.. After the note i um.. feel like i remember something.. Just in case your wondering, i really dont play any insturment so im not really musically inclined. Anyways... Am I weird?

1952 Plymouth Cranbrook?

The radio in my newly purchased 1952 Plymouth Cranbrook is not producing any sound. All of the dials/lights/ons work on the radio and the car is in overall good condition with only 27,000 original miles on it. I have the original manual and it states to wait 20 minutes before using the radio...so my question is, do I have to wait 20 min with the car running to give it the "true" test of working/not working, or is there another way to determine if it is functional?

Refusing Husbands Christmas gifts...?

My husband and I got married 6 mo ago 4 months into the marriage we had a bad argument and he decided to leave. I have a 7yo male; despite the fact that he has "papers," and brought his former owner large stud fees he was brought to a no kill shelter 4 years ago. I was contacted bc of his aggression. Love at 1st sight and he has been my constant companion for the past 4 years. My daughter was 8 when he came home with us and he never bit her. BUT it took 3 years for him to let her touch him. I have much experience training dogs and much success. 3 years ago we rescued a 4week old chi from deplorable conditions and close to death. She is thriving and the 2 have always gotten along. I immediately had the male neutered and the female was spayed @ 6 mos. I remarried TWO YEARS AGO and my male is STILL BITING my husband. All my spouse has to do is walk by and he is bitten in the leg or wherever my dog's teeth can reach. I have always been able to extinguish these behaviors with other dogs. Not this one. My spouse is wonderful and says not to worry b/c my dog is 5lbs and cannot do any damage. I do worry b/c something is wrong and has gone on so long. My son had an irrational (to me) fear that crocodiles could come up the drain and bite him on the toilet or in the bath and we live in Britain, I bought him a plastic crocodile we called him Cyril and he sat in the bathroom ready to fight any uninvited crocodiles off. Other child was terrified of 'monsters' so we made a story together about a family of monsters who were frighten of us. Why is my dog getting so fat?

My 6-year-old Sheltie is overweight. She weighs 44 pounds and should be around 35. She is very active. I give her one cup of dry food twice a day. She never finishes all of it; in fact, she probably eats about half, if that. I took her to the vet for a check up to see why she suddenly gained so much weight. He ran a bunch of blood tests, thinking it could be a thyroid issue. Everything turned up fine, but he gave her a new diet of green beans and cooked, lean chicken. Why is she so fat? Is it being overweight hereditary in dogs? I'm worried about her long-term health.

I work in a family run business. My father hired a temp before I started working at the business considers her a great employee. Out of fairness to her, when he hired me he made me her subordinate. I learned my responsibilities quickly and now find myself doing a lot of her work (i find her lazy - she merely tries to look busy). There is hardly enough work for the two of us to work an 8 hour day- and she gets payed while she commutes to work (I do not). We only work 32 hours a week and she somehow gets paid for 40 b/c she rides the bus. The business could lose her and productivity would not suffer. Because he hired us as temps we get no health coverage. I might add she is out of shape and is a huge medical liability risk in terms of costs of healthcare etc. I think she's a fat lazy slob-but now he wants to hire both of us full time (health coverage for both of us). My mom's boyfriend is getting on my last nerves. If I say I didn't give him a dirty look when he said I did, even though I didn't, he has this whole mentality that I call the "Vienna From THE BACHELOR" mentality that annoys the heck out of my mom and I. Which MALAY LANGUAGE should I learn?

People say it is easier to learn Bahasa Indonesia than Malay. BI is simple and practical... Malay is ok but o lot of words are connecting to english so it sounds strange to indonesian learners. Car won't even jump start!?

Sounds like it is your battery. When a battery is drained down, that means each cell does not have enough power in them and jumping it with cables is not a long enough time to get enough power to engage the starter. It takes a minimum of 2 hrs to fully recharge a battery @ 10 amps charging rate. Make sure the drive belt for the alternator is at the proper tension. If it is too loose, the alternator is not turning fast enough to provide power to run the electrical system and recharge the battery. When you press on the alternator belt, there should be +/ - 1/4in play in the belt. Before doing anything, check the fluid level of each cell. If it is a sealed battery, you may have to get a new one.

I would try a dummy to see if it helps. Your family aren't that keen on them but they're not the ones up half the night with a crying baby which isn't a lot of fun lol Which would they prefer, a happy baby with a dummy or a cranky and unhappy one without. The baby's welfare should come first!!Sometimes you feel like night feeds will never end but they do eventually. It doesn't make you a bad mum because your little one has a dummy. Just common sense I think. Every baby is different. Go with what feels right for you. Best of luck!!

Tiny Worm Holes in Roasted Almond...Ewww!?

I was eating some roasted almonds (Emerald brand) for snack today, and I noticed one of the almonds had 2 or 3 very small holes in it. I decided to cut open the almond and inside one of the tiny holes, it looked like there was webbing...I did not see any worms/bugs though. I have already eaten about 1/2c of these almonds, but now I am wondering if I should throw the rest away...Also, what kinds of bugs infect almonds? Making my own hydrolyzed vegetable (soy) protein?

I can't have alcohol, wheat, or anything that has been fermented with fungus. So, most soy sauce is out of the question. I came across some hydrolyzed soy protein, though, and I was wondering if I can make my own. The problem is that I need to boil the soy beans in hydrochloric acid, and I haven't been able to find any for sell. Would Betaine HCL work? What about Glucosamine Hydrochloride? Other than that, can I just use baking soda to neutralize it? Thanks!

it sounds like you don't have power at the red wire one way to check and see is to wire the red and yellow wire coming out of the back of the radio together to the yellow wire coming from the truck and see if the radio works then if it does that means that your not getting power to the red wire which is the ignition power you can test the wire to see if it gets power when you turn the key on if it does make sure your connection is good if that is good then you might have a bad radio
