Has anything ever happened to your baby/kids that has made you so scare?

Today I lunch I was feeding Damian I notice that his arm was red as I further look I notice that he was covered in hives. I got up and told my husband that were going to the ER. He didn't ask why, I guess he heard the desperation in my voice. As we were approaching the light I yelled at him to hurry up because the hives were spreading all over his arm and chest. At this point I was crying I was so scare I have never felt so scare. I have felt scare before but this feeling was knew it was different from the other times that I have felt scare . Well I got to the hospital in tears and by the time that I was seen by the doctor (which was quickly to my surprise) the hives and rash was gone. The doctor explain what happened, which was an allergic reaction to something. We are not exactly sure what the allergic reaction to was but he gave us some instruction. My son is fine now. I know all of us love our kids I hope that your kids have a healthy life but have you ever been in this situation before? How did you handle it? To be honest I think I was a mess. The only thing I know I did right was rush him to the hospital with out thinking twice about it but the whole way there I was a total wreck.
