Fights, women's oppression, and the race card?

I beleive that the worlds movements to give women equal rights with males was a good thing, but today women aernt in the same slot as men anymore, even the same laws dont properly apply to them. Not long ago a 36 year old lady slept with a minor aged at 14 years old and all she got was a slap on the wrist. A Male teacher at 28 years old slept with a 16 year old female student and he was targeted by the media, given a prison sentence and had to compensate for his actions. Males dont want to be harder on woman because they fear that others may call them ists and feminists groups will be at their door demanding equal rights and blah blah blah.
