What dirt bike should I get?

Look, I have gotten hooked on Dirt Bikes. I ride my friends as much as I can without being a bother. Well I want one. I have $1000 to spend and I want one. I do basic rides around on tracks, go fast, and try and "jump" off of ramps but still scared out of my shorts to get any higher than two feet. I'm 16, 6 Foot 2 inches, and 200 pounds. Which dirt bike is best for me? I've been looking at Apollo dirt bikes. They're cheap and seem good. But I'm also gullible to a good website. So I need experienced Dirt Bikers opinions. What brand? Size Engine? Style? Please help me out and recommend me to any ideas or bikes that might be right for me. Thanks. �
