Does New Moon get better?

Does the book New Moon by Stephenie Meyer get better? Like I just started it today and I am on like page 100 and it's already sooo depressing. Like I don't want to read it anymore since Edward left. How much farther do i have to read until it gets good like Twilight was? (Please answer all of my questions.) Oh and which is better, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse or Breaking Dawn? Is there going to be another book after Breaking Dawn? I don't think I can read more of New Moon if it doesn't get better. I KNOW Edward will come back sometime because there are 2 more books, but when??? I can't stand the books without him! It's so sad and I can't stand JACOB BLACK! EWWW! Sorry guys if you like him...Anyway I would really appreciate if you answer all of those questions it would REALLY REALLY help!!!! Thanks for time writing back to me!
