How can the average kid help get smoking banned?

I am doing a brochure for my seventh grade language arts cl. We are working on persuasion; I chose smoking to be my topic. My argument is that it should be banned, but I need to use some persuasive techniques for a good grade. One way I was planning to do this is to explain how kids in my cl can help get smoking banned. Any ideas? Thanks.
