Do I need to register a business name if it is different than my LLC.. Is this a division? How does it work?

uming your are in the United States, your LLC can file an umed name certificate with tthe Secretary of State in which your LLC is incorporated. It will state that Orange Company LLC is doing business as (d/b/a) Blue Company. You will also need to publish this usualyy in the clifieds of a newspaper. You may also need to register Blue Company as a trade or service mark.
