Cd player not turning on..?

it sounds like you don't have power at the red wire one way to check and see is to wire the red and yellow wire coming out of the back of the radio together to the yellow wire coming from the truck and see if the radio works then if it does that means that your not getting power to the red wire which is the ignition power you can test the wire to see if it gets power when you turn the key on if it does make sure your connection is good if that is good then you might have a bad radio
